Clear Braces Direct Invisible Aligners

Our Invisalign Clear Braces are made of the World's best SmartTrack material, the art of 3D printing technology to move your teeth more precisely and comfortably.
Our invisible aligners come as a set of multiple aligners. Each aligner will make slight adjustments to tooth position, a process that is mapped out in advance by a Clear Braces Direct affiliated, duly licensed dentist or orthodontist who reviews your case. You’ll begin wearing a new set of aligners as prescribed, advancing you to the next stage of your new smile. We make it even easier by shipping your aligners directly to you.
Our aligners are made of a smooth, comfortable, BPA-free plastic that won't irritate your cheeks and gums like traditional metal braces often do.
Clear Braces Direct invisible aligners are scalloped and contoured to the gums which not only makes them more comfortable but also makes them suitable as whitening trays.
Every Clear Braces Direct order begins with a 3D scan and photos which forms the basis of your Smile Assessment. The invisible aligner system is designed for minor to moderate teeth correction, including space between teeth, crowding, rotations, and some bite correction. Book FREE Assessment
Typically, you will need to wait six weeks after having your third molars (or wisdom teeth) extracted before starting with Clear Braces Direct. If your dentist or surgeon feels it's safe, you may be able to start earlier with a signed release form from his or her practice.
If your dentist has recommended removal of wisdom teeth, then please follow that direction. If not, you can book a scan and a licensed dentist or orthodontist will review your smile for you.
Our aligners would not work for customers who have an implant.
Our aligners can work for some customers who have missing teeth. The licensed dentist or orthodontist assigned to you will assess your smile and determine if Clear Braces Direct aligners are the best fit for you.

3D Scan Process

When you visit one of our Clear Braces Direct Scanning Centres, you will be asked to provide some information, brush your teeth, and have your teeth scanned using an intra-oral scanner. We use an intra-oral scanner at the Studio instead of the modelling kit. This device does not use X-rays but is essentially an intra-oral camera that uses focused light and sophisticated sensors and software to create a three-dimensional picture of the inside of your mouth. It is this picture that is then analysed and used to create your treatment plan. The process of having an intra-oral scan often takes about thirty (30) minutes, but it may sometimes take a bit longer. You may be asked to use a "cheek stretcher" to hold your mouth open. If you need to take a break during the process, please tell the staff. In addition to the intra-oral scan, we will take some photographs of your face and mouth that will be provided to the orthodontist.

You should also note that during certain portions of the visit, our staff will wear gloves and a mask, consistent with usual precautionary procedures. This is a routine infection control practice and should be familiar to you from your regular dentist. We ask that if you know that you are sick with a cold, or the flu, for example, you consider rescheduling your appointment if possible. If you think you have allergies to nitrile gloves or plastic that may be used in the cheek stretcher, or if you have experienced any kind of reaction to dental scanning or related procedures, please discuss it with staff, as it may not be appropriate for you to be seen at the CBD Scanning Centre.

If you can, please come to a few minutes earlier to complete your check-in form.

Treatment Process

Yes. Your new smile will be reviewed, modified, and approved by a duly licensed dentist or orthodontist. This ensures your new smile is improved and aligns within the "Standards of Care." Our team of treatment planners have successfully completed over 7000 smiles with this unique clear aligner system. More than any other group in the country!
Yes, after the 3D scan, we create a custom treatment plan which shows a before and after 3D visualization of how your teeth will move with treatment. You can see examples of how our custom treatment plans work by visiting our Results page.
The licensed dentist or orthodontist assigned to you will determine the best plan for your needs, but we straighten most smiles in an average of 6 months.
It’s possible. The aligners usually come in pairs and it is as much effort to remember to wear 2 as it is to wear 1.The licensed dentist or orthodontist assigned to your case will decide what the safest and best treatment option is for you. The cost of the treatment is the same whether you just treat one arch or both.
Use your 'chewies' as much as possible to minimise inaccuracies.

The two key things are wearing your aligners as much as possible and when wearing them make sure they are pushed in as much as possible.
Please wear your aligners for at least 20-22 hours a day. Remove the aligners to eat, you may need to brush your teeth before placing the aligner back in your mouth.

You can drink through a straw whilst wearing the aligners. Try and avoid drinking sugary drinks with the aligners in.
Much like the days after a good workout at the gym, most people experience some tooth soreness for a few days after wearing new aligners. This is perfectly normal. It is a sign that your aligners are working, gently moving your teeth to their final destination. This soreness should gradually go away after the first few days of wearing new aligners. If the pain doesn't go away, contact our customer care team at [email protected].
Most Clear Braces Direct customers don't need to make any additional visits to a dental office during their invisible aligner treatment, aside from regular dental cleanings.
If you lose one of your aligners, you will need to move onto your next aligner sooner. You can always wear your new set for a little longer to make up for the set you lost. Always keep your previous aligner in your red pot as a back up. If you lose all your aligners please contact the customer care team on [email protected]
Once your treatment is complete, you'll need to let us know. We can order 3 retainers for £350 (including upper and lower retainer). Without retainers, your teeth have a tendency to move back to their original position over time.
As with any orthodontic treatment, you'll need to wear a retainer regularly to maintain your new smile. Safeguard your new smile by wearing our custom-fit Clear Braces Direct invisible retainers 24 hours a day (except for eating and drinking) for the first two weeks. After that, you'll want to wear your retainers only while you sleep.

Without Insurance - Replacement retainers are avaliable for an additional cost of £350 for 3 sets (including upper and lower retainer)
If at the end of your 14 set of aligners, you haven't achieved the smile you love. Come back for rescan £99 and you will be eligible for upto 14 additional aligners to continue your journey.
