If you have mild or moderate misalignment or malocclusion issues then you can straighten your teeth with Invisalign alone. Invisalign works using a series of clear thermoplastic aligners which are designed using the latest in digital dental technology for accuracy and precision. The number of aligners in the series will vary from patient to patient. Here at Clear Braces Direct we have different treatment plans according to how much movement is necessary to create a beautifully aligned smile for you. Some patients require as little as 7 aligners, whilst others may require up to 30 aligners to straighten their teeth. We will carry out a free three-dimensional scan of your mouth which will help us determine  how long the process will take, as well as the cost of the treatment. If you are happy to proceed with Invisalign then we will place an order for your bespoke aligners. This may take a few weeks but they can be sent directly to you or you can visit us for your initial fitting. You may need to have some small attachments fixed to the front of your teeth. These are transparent white squares that are glued onto your teeth to allow the aligners to grip your teeth and apply greater pressure for better movement. You will become accustomed to removing and replacing the aligners and although you can feel the aligners in your mouth, they are comfortable to wear as they are designed specifically for you. Each time you wear a new aligner you may notice that they are tight to begin with, but again it is something that you can become accustomed to very quickly.
